Billing

The Billing page shows your organisation's spend, current-period usage, credit, payment method and invoices. Only organisation admins can open it.

Who can see billing#

Open OrganisationBilling. Only Admins can view it. Anyone else sees Billing is admin-only — You need to be an admin of this organization to view its billing.

Add a card#

  1. Open Payment Method

On Billing, find the Payment Method panel and choose Add a card, or Update card if one is already saved.

  2. Enter card details

The card form is provided by Stripe, and your card is stored by Stripe, not by DevLyft. You won't be charged when you save it.

  3. Save card

Choose Save card. DevLyft confirms the saved card with Stripe right away, so the Billing page updates straight away without waiting for a background sync.

The spend cards appear once billing is connected. Until then the page reads Spend figures appear once billing is connected. Your current-period usage is shown below. Your usage is still recorded and shown.

Promotional credit#

DevLyft doesn't currently grant a sign-up credit. If your organisation has promotional credit, the remaining amount appears under Usage This Period, and while it covers your usage the Billing page says Your usage is currently covered by promotional credit — you won't be charged until it runs out.

How charges are calculated#

Usage is billed per second. Shared compute is billed on the CPU and memory each running replica requests, and dedicated nodes are billed per node while leased. See Usage and billing and the pricing calculator.
